RESUME
                                       
The Feast day of our Lord’s Presentation 1976 was the great day Fr. Leonard was born into the family of Chief Luke Ehiemere and Nneoha Victoria Ehiemere. Fr. Leo at his tender age exhibited priestly characters through his behaviours.

Fr. Leo attended Amapu Community Primary School (1982 - 1988) for his primary education. Here he was outstanding with good results.

From 1989 - 1994, he went to Immaculate Conception Seminary for his secondary education and passed out with a good grade. Due to his outstanding qualities he was asked to teach in the seminary for his prefectship (1994 - 1995). He further went to Nativity Spiritual Year Seminary Ozu-Abam (1995 - 1996) for his Spiritual year formation.

Between the years 1996 - 2000, Fr. Leo was at Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri for his philosophical studies. He graduated with flying colours. The year 2000 - 2001 saw Fr. Leo back to Immaculate Conception Seminary Ahiaeke for his one-year pastoral experience. After a successful “one year” Fr. Leo proceeded back to Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri for his theological studies. He graduated with a nice result in the year 2005.

For his “internship programme” Fr. Leo first worked at St. Anthony Parish Isiama Afaraukwu and Nativity Spiritual Year Seminary. The Good Lord worked everything unto good for those who love him and keep his command. So it is with Fr. Leo and his academic and formation pursuits.

Apart from his academic pursuits Fr. Leo also distinguished himself very well in the area of Apostolic work in these places.

Fr. Leo like sports especially football and table tennis, reading and writing.

We pray that the Good Lord will guide and protect Fr. Leo as he works in the Lord’s vineyard.
